# Generate a new opn_ API key

`POST /account/api-keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api`
- URL: `https://opnplatform.com/api/account/api-keys`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Generates a new long-lived `opn_` API key. **Full key returned once only — store it securely.** Subsequent calls show `opn_abc123***` preview only. Maximum 5 active keys. Essential plan required.

## Other responses

- `403`: Essential plan required
- `429`: Maximum 5 keys per account
