# Connect the member's assigned account from Workbot

`POST /v1/workbot/connections/{connectionId}/connect/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/workbot/connections/{connectionId}/connect/start`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Requires a live Workbot OAuth grant with write scope and active membership. Re-enters the existing connection start as that member in the token's organization; the same connection grants and permissions apply. Only a path on the configured Workbot origin can be signed into OAuth state.

## Response `200`

Provider consent URL and its callback origin.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid connection or return path.
- `401`: The token or membership is no longer valid.
- `403`: The grant or connection permission is missing.
- `404`: The feature or connection is unavailable.
