# Report a Get set up step Workbot observed

`POST /v1/workbot/activation/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/workbot/activation/events`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

For the Workbot app only. With a live Workbot member token (read and write scopes), records the member's first Workbot answer or that they hid the checklist, then returns the updated checklist. Repeats are ignored. Off unless the activationChecklist feature is on.

## Other responses

- `400`: The event is not one Workbot may report.
- `401`: The token or membership is invalid.
- `403`: The sign-in grant does not allow this.
- `404`: The checklist is off for this workspace.
