# Set a team's prompt

`PUT /v1/org/prompts/teams/{teamId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/org/prompts/teams/{teamId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Sets the system prompt one team's members' agents follow, after the prompt for everyone. The first save creates the prompt and assigns it to the team. Requires the Manage prompts permission, a recent sign-in and the Prompts feature.

## Other responses

- `400`: The prompt was empty, too long, or the request was invalid.
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `403`: The caller lacks the Manage prompts permission or needs to sign in again.
- `404`: The organization or team was not found, or Prompts is off for the organization.
