# Set the prompt for everyone

`PUT /v1/org/prompts/everyone`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/org/prompts/everyone`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Sets the system prompt every member's agents follow. The first save creates the prompt and assigns it to everyone. Desktops pick it up at their next provider sync. Requires the Manage prompts permission, a recent sign-in and the Prompts feature.

- `400`: The prompt was empty, too long, or the request was invalid.
- `401`: Authentication required.
- `403`: The caller lacks the Manage prompts permission or needs to sign in again.
- `404`: The organization or team was not found, or Prompts is off for the organization.
