# Get current user's prompts

`GET /v1/me/prompts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/me/prompts`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Returns the system prompts that apply to the caller in their active organization, in the order desktops append them to OpenWork's instructions: prompts for everyone, then each of the caller's teams' prompts by team name, then prompts assigned to the caller. Desktops read it with their provider sync. Requires the Prompts feature; answers 404 while it is off, and desktops then add no prompts.

## Response `200`

Current user prompts returned successfully.

- MemberPrompts
  - `prompts` MemberPrompt[], required
    - `id` string, required
    - `source` 'organization' | 'team' | 'member', required
    - `teamName` string
    - `content` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: The caller must be signed in to read their prompts.
- `404`: Prompts is off for the organization.
