# Report a Get set up step this app observed

`POST /v1/me/activation/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/me/activation/events`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Records a step only the client can see (its first answer, a provider key saved on the device, a local skill run) or that the member hid the checklist. Repeats are ignored. Returns the updated checklist. Off unless the activationChecklist feature is on.

## Other responses

- `400`: The event is not one a client may report.
- `401`: The caller must be signed in.
- `404`: The checklist is off for this organization.
