# Configure Slack assistant installation

`PUT /v1/mcp-connections/{connectionId}/slack-assistant`

Save the connector's Slack assistant settings and optionally replace its signing secret. Enabling requires the platform capability and OpenWork Web access. Requires a workspace admin browser session and recent verification.

  - `signingSecret` string
  - `channelIds` string[]
  - `shadowMode` boolean
  - `dailyLimit` integer
  - `model` string, nullable — Gateway model alias for headless runs; null restores the runner default. Omit to keep the current model.

Slack assistant settings saved.

- `400` — Invalid parameters or incomplete Slack setup.
- `401` — Authentication required.
- `403` — Admin access, recent verification, or Slack eligibility required.
- `404` — Organization or connection not found.
- `409` — Connection changed while saving.
