# Start Slack bot installation

`POST /v1/mcp-connections/{connectionId}/slack-assistant/install`

Create a short-lived, single-use OAuth state tied to the installing admin and return the Slack authorization URL. The connector must already have OAuth credentials and a signing secret configured.

- `connectionId` string, typeid, required

## Response `200`

Slack bot authorization URL.

- `400` — Invalid parameters or incomplete Slack setup.
- `401` — Authentication required.
- `403` — Admin access, recent verification, or Slack eligibility required.
- `404` — Organization or connection not found.
