# Block one member's LLM provider credential

`POST /v1/llm-providers/{llmProviderId}/member-credentials/{orgMembershipId}/block`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/llm-providers/{llmProviderId}/member-credentials/{orgMembershipId}/block`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Requires the Manage people's provider keys permission. Marks one member's credential on the provider as blocked: it is no longer used for inference and the member can neither delete nor overwrite it. Storing a new credential for that member through the admin PUT endpoint is the unblock path.

## Response `200`

Member credential blocked.

## Other responses

- `400`: The provider or member id is invalid.
- `401`: The caller must be signed in.
- `403`: The caller lacks the Manage people's provider keys permission.
- `404`: The provider or member credential could not be found.
