# Check the preset MCP providers now

`POST /v1/admin/mcp-registration/check`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com`
- URL: `https://api.openworklabs.com/v1/admin/mcp-registration/check`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Runs the scheduled preset check once: reads each OAuth preset's sign-in metadata and records what it shows. With tryRegistration, also registers OpenWork's client (as a member's sign-in would) where only a registration can tell, deleting it again when the provider allows. Providers checked within the scheduled interval are skipped. Platform administrators only.

## Response `200`

Check finished.

- AdminMcpRegistrationRunResult
  - `checked` integer, required
  - `skipped` integer, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request.
- `401`: Sign in required.
- `403`: Platform administrator required.
