# Get Personal Record

`GET /api/v1/users/{user_id}/personal-record`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openwearables.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openwearables.io/api/v1/users/{user_id}/personal-record`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/v1/auth/login`)

Returns the user's birth date, gender and sex. A field that was never set is null.

  - `birth_date` string, date, nullable: Birth date of the user
  - `gender` 'female' | 'male' | 'nonbinary' | 'other', nullable: Optional self-reported gender
  - `user_id` string, uuid, required
  - `sex` 'female' | 'male', nullable: Biological sex, for norms that differ between women and men
