# Remove Subtitles

`POST /api/subtitle/remove`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openshorts.app` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openshorts.app/api/subtitle/remove`
- Auth: none declared

Point a clip back at its un-captioned original.

Clips ship captioned by default now, so there has to be a way out — without
this, a user who doesn't want captions is stuck with them. No re-encode and
no quota: the pipeline always keeps the clean file next to the derived
``subtitled_<ts>_`` one, so removing is just choosing the other file.

## Request body

- RemoveSubtitlesRequest
  - `job_id` string, required
  - `clip_index` integer, required
  - `input_filename` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- unknown

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
