# Set collection pricing currency

`POST /api/v2/collections/{slug}/pricing_currency`

Choose whether a collection's secondary sales are priced in the chain's USD stablecoin or in its native currency. On Robinhood Chain collections default to USDG; send use_stablecoin false to price in ETH. The owner or an authorized editor can change it. Repricing runs as a background job, so listings move to the new currency shortly after the call returns. Multi-chain collections and collections with trading disabled cannot be switched. While a switch is still running, another request returns 409; retry once it finishes.

- SetCollectionPricingCurrencyRequest: Request body for choosing the currency a collection is priced in
  - `use_stablecoin` boolean, required: true prices the collection in the chain's USD stablecoin (USDG on Robinhood Chain). false prices it in the chain's native currency (ETH on Robinhood Chain).

## Response `200`

Change accepted

- SetCollectionPricingCurrencyResponse: Result of a request to change a collection's pricing currency
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the change was accepted
  - `workflow_id` string, nullable: Id of the background job that reprices the collection. Null when the collection was already priced in the requested currency and nothing needed to change.

## Other responses

- `400`: For error reasons, review the response data.
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Wallet token lacks permission for this request
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Resource conflict
- `500`: Internal server error. Please open a support ticket so OpenSea can investigate.
