# Revoke one of your CLI sessions (session only)

`DELETE /v1/me/cli-sessions/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revokes one of your CLI sessions; it stops working on the next request to the API or the inference gateway. orl auth logout calls this.
Both the control plane and the inference gateway check revocation on every request, with no cache to wait out. Revoking an already revoked session answers 204 again; orl auth logout then deletes the credential locally.

Requires the `self.update` permission. See [Permissions](https://docs.openrelay.inc/docs/permissions) for the roles and API key permissions that include it.
