# Get My Role

`GET /team/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openproof.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openproof.io/team/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The caller's own role on the business they're currently acting on,
plus that business's real identity fields (added 8 Aug 2026) --
lets the frontend know whether to show write-action UI at all, and
show the BUSINESS's actual plan/name/grievance-officer contact
rather than whichever individual teammate happens to be logged in.
Every account resolves to 'owner' on their own business_id by
default (unchanged single-user behavior, and for an owner the
business fields are simply their own); only an active teammate
resolves to 'editor'/'viewer' on someone else's, with that someone
else's identity fields.
