# Update Shelf Life Record

`PATCH /shelf-life/{record_id}`

## Request

Sets the business's own collection-start date and/or retention
duration for a category. expires_at is recomputed here whenever
both are present -- if either is cleared, expires_at goes back to
null rather than showing a stale computed date.
