# Set Monitored Url

`POST /scan/monitor`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openproof.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openproof.io/scan/monitor`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Enable/update scheduled scanning for the business's own site
(scheduled scans, 23 Sep 2026). Validated the same way a manual
scan's URL is -- must resolve to a public IP, no localhost/private/
link-local targets -- since this URL gets scanned automatically,
unattended, on a recurring schedule from here on.
