# Logout

`POST /auth/logout`

## Request

audit-b9: end THIS session on the server. The token's id goes on the revoked list, so a copied token stops working
immediately (other devices stay signed in; use /revoke-sessions to end them all). Never errors: logging out must always
succeed from the person's side, even with an expired or missing token.
