# Delete a Project Asset

`DELETE /video-projects/{id}/assets/{asset_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1/video-projects/{id}/assets/{asset_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `openpost_session`

Removes a Project Asset after the editor no longer references it. Shared media remains available to other projects.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Video project ID
- `asset_id` string, required: Project Asset ID

## Query parameters

- `workspace_id` string, required: Workspace ID

## Response `200`

OK

  - `deleted` boolean, required: Whether the Project Asset was removed
