# Build publication copy from an idea

`POST /post-builder/generate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1/post-builder/generate`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `openpost_session`

Creates canonical and destination-specific copy for review. It does not save, schedule, or publish anything.

## Request body

- GeneratePostInputBody
  - `$schema` string, uri: A URL to the JSON Schema for this object.
  - `idea` string, required: Rough idea to turn into post copy
  - `social_account_ids` string[], nullable, required: Destinations to write for
  - `workspace_id` string, required: Workspace ID

## Response `200`

OK

  - `model` string, required: Model that generated the copy
  - `renditions` Rendition[], nullable, required: Destination-specific copy
    - `body` string, required
