# Nominate a successor Organization Owner

`POST /organizations/{id}/ownership-transfer`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `openpost_session`

Requires the current Owner, an unscoped browser session, exact Organization-name confirmation, and recent reauthentication. Authority changes only after acceptance.
