# Permanently delete an Organization and all of its Workspaces

`DELETE /organizations/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.openpo.st/api/v1/organizations/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `openpost_session`

Atomically deletes the complete Organization boundary after current-Owner authorization, exact canonical-name confirmation, recent authentication, and a final blocker check. Required content-free billing and audit evidence remains.
