# Review Pay-in Transaction

`POST /transactions/review`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.openpayd.com/api`
- URL: `https://sandbox.openpayd.com/api/transactions/review`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Review a pay-in transaction before it is credited on an account. You will need to contact us is you want to use this endpoint.

## Request body

- object
  - `transactionId` string, required: `id` (UUID) of the deposit transaction whose review status you want to update.
  - `reviewStatus` string, required: `APPROVED`, `REJECTED`
  - `comment` string, required: Comment explaining why you approved or rejected the transaction.
  - `metadata` object: Set of key-value pairs that you can use for sending additional, structured information with your request. e.g your internal ID of your user etc.<br> e.g `"userId":"ABC1234, "userName":"Boris Johnson"`
