# Update Payout Status - Sandbox use ONLY

`POST /simulator/payout/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.openpayd.com/api`
- URL: `https://sandbox.openpayd.com/api/simulator/payout/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Update the Payout Status from `RELEASED` to `FAILED`/`COMPLETED. Can only be used in the Sandbox environment. 

PLEASE DO NOT USE IN PRODUCTION.

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `status` string, required: New status of the transaction. `FAILED`, `COMPLETED`
  - `reason` string, required: Reason for the Payout transaction status to be updated
