# Request APAC Payments

`POST /payins`

## Request

The APAC Local Payment scheme allows you to receive funds into your EUR base account from a sender's local account in one of the following Southeast Asian currencies:<br><br> • Vietnamese Dong (VND)<br> • Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)<br> • Indonesian Rupiah (IDR)<br> • Thai Baht (THB)<br> • Philippine Peso (PHP)<br><br> Each payin triggers two transactions: the local payment received from the sender and an automatic exchange into EUR.

## Request body

  - `payinAccountId` string, required: The local currency account to which the payment is initiated.
  - `exchangeDestinationAccountId` string, required: The destination account used for currency conversion.
  - `bankAccountCode` string, required: Code that identifies the receiving bank. The available bank codes can be found on the [Bank Codes](https://apidocs.openpayd.com/docs/bank-codes) page.
  - `amount` object, required: The amount to be sent to the beneficiary in the local currency.

  - `senderDetails` object, required
    - `type` 'INDIVIDUAL' | 'BUSINESS', required: The type of sender. `RETAIL`, `CORPORATE`
    - `firstName` string: Required if `type` is `INDIVIDUAL`.
    - `lastName` string: Required if `type` is `INDIVIDUAL`.
    - `legalName` string: Required if `type` is `BUSINESS`.
    - `email` string, required: Contact email address of the sender.
    - `country` string, required: The country where the sender resides.
    - `birthDate` string: Required if `type` is `INDIVIDUAL`.
    - `foundationDate` string: Required if `type` is `BUSINESS`.
    - `registrationNumber` string: Required if `type` is `BUSINESS`.
