# Fork Paper From Project

`POST /api/projects/papers/fork`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openpaper.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openpaper.ai/api/projects/papers/fork`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

As we can have multiple users working on the same project, sometimes there may be papers in a project a different user wants to fork into their own library. This endpoint allows a user to fork a paper from a specified project into their own library.

## Request body

- ForkPaperFromProjectRequest
  - `source_project_id` string, required
  - `paper_id` string, required

## Response `200`
