# Suggested values of a dimension

`POST /api/v2/{org_id}/downtimes/values`

Values of one dimension for the condition value box and the resource picker, from the alerts, anomaly detections and SLOs, the service registry and, for a non-priority dimension, a one-hour search. `partial` is true when the search did not answer within 2 s.

  - `condition` union: A tree of dimension tests (D17); one AND group of `=` pairs is an on-call `OwnershipRule`.

    - object: `value` may end in `*`, a prefix, as in ownership rules.
      - `key` string, required
      - `operator` '=' | '!=', required
      - `type` 'pair', required
      - `value` string, required
  - `key` string, required: A semantic group id, as `refine_by` in `ResourcesRequest`.
  - `prefix` string: Case-insensitive prefix; empty lists the top values.

Success

  - `partial` boolean, required: True when a source timed out; the list is what answered in time.
  - `values` ValueSuggestion[], required
    - `items` integer, required: Alerts, anomaly detections and SLOs whose identity carries this value.
    - `last_seen` integer, nullable: Newest sighting in microseconds, when a source knows one.
    - `source` string, required: `inventory`, `registry` or `search`.
    - `value` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `403`: Forbidden or not enabled
