# Test an inline remote task

`POST /api/{org_id}/tasks/test`

Calls an inline Remote Task candidate once using the submitted contract and write-only Secret material. No Task, version, execution record, or Secret row is written.

- object: A complete inline Remote Task candidate and the sample sent by a stateless connection test. The candidate fields intentionally match registration so the UI can send the same form state without first creating a Task head.
