# Publish an edited remote task

`POST /api/{org_id}/tasks/{entity_id}/test_connection`

Description-only edits update their source version without calling the endpoint. Structural edits call the endpoint using the draft's own contract; a failure records why and publishes nothing, while a success publishes the next immutable version.
