# Check the self-hosted Slack prerequisites

`GET /api/{org_id}/slack/prerequisites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai/api/{org_id}/slack/prerequisites`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/openobserve/apis/openobserve-api-http/docs/api/:org_id/slack/prerequisites/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Step 0: master key, delegation key, home region, web URL and agent. While Slack is disabled only `_meta` admins may read it, and org admins too once O2_SLACK_ENABLED is on.

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required

## Response `200`

`{"checks": [{"id", "status", "detail", "variable", "fix"}]}`

- object

## Other responses

- `403`: Not an admin, or the OSS build
- `404`: Slack is not enabled and the caller may not read the prerequisites
