# Start linking a Slack account

`POST /api/{org_id}/slack/link-requests/{request_id}/start`

## Request

Checks the signed link the bot sent and returns the Sign in with Slack URL for the signed-in user. Any member of a connected organization may call it.

- `400`: Bad signature
- `403`: No O2 account in a connected organization (`error_detail` `no_access`, `hint` the help contact), or the OSS build
- `404`: Slack is not enabled for this organization, or unknown request
- `410`: Expired, redeemed or discarded
- `429`: More than 10 start or confirm calls in a minute
