# Who is on call for a team

`GET /api/{org_id}/oncall/teams/{team_id}/on-call`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai/api/{org_id}/oncall/teams/{team_id}/on-call`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/openobserve/apis/openobserve-api-http/docs/api/:org_id/oncall/teams/:team_id/on-call/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required
- `team_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `at` integer

## Response `200`

Success

- OnCallPosition[]
  - `next_user_email` string, nullable: Who takes over at the next handover. Display only — nothing pages this. It once doubled as the secondary, which is how one team got two different people both correctly labelled "the secondary".
  - `override_id` string, nullable: Set when a cover, rather than a shift rule, put this person here.
  - `rotation_id` string, required: The rotation's id. What a level of the escalation policy points at.
  - `rotation_name` string, required: The rotation's name, for a human reading a page or a calendar.
  - `rule` string, required: Which shift rule inside it produced this answer.
  - `user_email` string, required
