# Get an on-call team

`GET /api/{org_id}/oncall/teams/{team_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai/api/{org_id}/oncall/teams/{team_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/openobserve/apis/openobserve-api-http/docs/api/:org_id/oncall/teams/:team_id/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required
- `team_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Success

- Team: A group of people who can be paged together.
  - `channel_destinations` string[], nullable: Alert Destination names this team is talked to on — the room the record is posted to, as opposed to the people the ladder wakes. `None` means never set and falls back to `EscalationPolicy::destinations`, so stored policies keep working; `Some([])` means deliberately no channel. Precedence lives in `config::meta::oncall::policy::team_channel`. On the team rather than the policy because a team's room is not a property of its ladder — you want it without editing a rung — and a whole-row super-cluster snapshot built from `Team` would otherwise have to carry a column it cannot see.
  - `created_at` integer, required
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `id` string, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `org_id` string, required
  - `slack_channel_id` string, nullable
  - `slack_channel_name` string, nullable: Display only.
  - `slack_enterprise_id` string, nullable: Slack Enterprise Grid id of the team's room, if any; matched with `slack_workspace_id` by the Slack app's team rule (D45).
  - `slack_same_room_destination` string, nullable: The team's webhook destination that posts to the same Slack room.
  - `slack_workspace_id` string, nullable: Slack team id of the team's room, set by `/o2 oncall here` (RO-1).
  - `timezone` string, required: IANA name, used to render schedules in the team's own working hours. Stored, not interpreted — resolution is in absolute micros.
  - `updated_at` integer, required
