# Continue a shared AI conversation as your own

`POST /api/{org_id}/ai/shared/{token}/fork`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openobserve.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Creates a new conversation owned by the caller. Nothing is copied now: its first turn carries the shared transcript as context. Send `{}` as JSON.
