# Delete correspondent policy rule

`DELETE /v1/policy/rules/{id}`

## Request

Remove a single policy rule by its ID. Inbox-scoped keys are rejected. A pod-scoped key may delete a rule on its own pod or an inbox in that pod, never an account-wide rule.

Rule deleted

## Other responses

- `403`: The authenticating key is scoped and cannot manage policy
- `404`: Rule not found
