# Get Message Settings

`GET /settings/messages`

## Request

Get message settings for the customer.

Returns message taking and notification settings.
Note: messages_enabled is only visible to admin users.

Successful Response

- MessageSettingsResponse: Message settings response model
  - `messages_enabled` boolean, required: Whether message taking is enabled for this customer
  - `sms_notifications_enabled` boolean, required: Whether SMS notifications are enabled
  - `sms_recipients` string[]: List of phone numbers (E.164 format) to receive SMS notifications
  - `email_notifications_enabled` boolean, required: Whether email notifications are enabled
  - `email_recipients` string[]: List of email addresses to receive notifications
