# Create Known Contact

`POST /settings/known-contacts`

## Request

Create a new known contact.

Requires known_contacts_enabled to be true for the customer.
Phone number must be in E.164 format (e.g., +12025551234).

## Request body

- KnownContactCreateRequest: Create known contact request model
  - `phone_number` string, required: Phone number in E.164 format (e.g., +12025551234)
  - `name` string, required: Name of the contact
  - `first_name_phonetic` string, required: Phonetic spelling of first name for AI pronunciation

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- KnownContactResponse: Known contact response model
  - `known_contact_id` string, uuid, required
  - `phone_number` string, required: Phone number in E.164 format
  - `name` string, required: Name of the contact
  - `first_name_phonetic` string, required: Phonetic spelling of first name for AI pronunciation
