# Place Outbound Test Call

`POST /outbound-test-calls/`

## Request

Place a one-off outbound test call to an arbitrary number.

The call is flagged `is_test=True` and no outbound lead is created.

## Request body

- PlaceOutboundTestCallRequest: Request to place a one-off outbound test call to an arbitrary number.
  - `customer_number` string, required: Phone number to dial
  - `first_name` string, nullable: Contact first name
  - `last_name` string, nullable: Contact last name
  - `phone_number_id` string, uuid, nullable: Internal phone number ID to dial from. Optional when the customer has exactly one ready number.
  - `trigger_metadata` object, nullable: Values for the customer's configured trigger fields (e.g. {"lead_source": "instagram_ad"})
  - `call_context` string, nullable: Free-text context the agent personalizes the call with, standing in for what a website form, chat or email would normally supply

- PlaceOutboundTestCallResponse: Response from placing an outbound test call.
  - `call_id` string, uuid, required: Internal call record ID
  - `phone_number` string, required: The number the call was placed from
  - `status` string, required
