# Update Transcript Settings

`PATCH /developer/transcript-settings`

## Request

Update the transcript settings for the current customer.

Sets the text replacement rules that are applied to all transcripts
(both realtime and finalized) as they enter the system.

## Request body

- UpdateTranscriptSettingsRequest: Request to update customer's transcript settings
  - `text_replacements` TranscriptTextReplacementRule[], required: List of text replacement rules
    - `find` string, required: Text to find in transcripts
    - `replace` string, required: Text to replace with
    - `case_sensitive` boolean: Whether the match is case-sensitive
  - `transcription_prompt` string, nullable: Contextual prompt sent to AssemblyAI describing the audio domain
  - `transcription_keyterms` string[]: Keyterms sent to AssemblyAI to boost domain-term accuracy
  - `grading_artifact_note` string, nullable: Note appended to the call-grading prompt describing known transcription artifacts; omit to leave unchanged, send null to clear

  - `grading_artifact_note` string, nullable: Note appended to the call-grading prompt describing known transcription artifacts for this customer; null means no note is added
