# Purge Untagged Matters

`POST /developer/transcript-filing/purge-untagged-matters`

Deactivate mirrored matters with no lifecycle status.

Rows without ``matter_status`` were mirrored by the legacy single-root +
depth sweep (mostly a matter's own subfolders — Pleadings, Discovery).
Once matter sources are configured, every legitimate matter is tagged, so
untagged rows are provably stale. This clears them without waiting for a
full rebuild sweep to complete.

Soft-deactivation only — rows are kept, never deleted.
