# Reset Drive Matter Profile

Clear a matter's extracted profile and per-file extraction bookkeeping.

The correction path for a bad extraction: profiles are merge-only, so a
misextracted name would otherwise steer matching forever. Resetting
clears the profile and marks every file un-extracted; the next extraction
run rebuilds the profile from scratch.
