# Update Developer Settings

`PATCH /developer/developer-settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openintake.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Update the developer settings for the current customer.

This endpoint is restricted to developer users only.

- **call_started_developer_alert_inbound_enabled**: Set to true to enable SMS alerts when new inbound calls start
- **call_started_developer_alert_outbound_enabled**: Set to true to enable SMS alerts when new outbound calls start (defaults to off; one text per dialed call)
- **call_started_developer_alert_caller_numbers**: Replace the watched caller numbers whose inbound calls always alert
- **grade_alert_threshold**: Which grade levels trigger alerts:
  - b_and_below: Alert for B, C, F grades
  - c_and_below: Alert for C, F grades
  - f_only: Alert for F grades only
  - none: No grade alerts

## Request body

- UpdateDeveloperSettingsRequest: Request to update customer's developer settings
  - `call_started_developer_alert_inbound_enabled` boolean, nullable: Set to true to enable SMS alerts when new inbound calls start (defaults to on)
  - `call_started_developer_alert_outbound_enabled` boolean, nullable: Set to true to enable SMS alerts when new outbound calls start. Defaults to OFF: this fires one text per dialed call, so leave it off for high-volume dialing customers
  - `call_started_developer_alert_caller_numbers` string[], nullable: Replace the watched caller numbers: inbound calls from these always send the call-started alert. Each must be a valid phone number; stored as E.164. An empty list watches no one
  - `outbound_developer_alert_enabled` boolean, nullable: Set to true to enable SMS alerts for outbound lead activity
  - `unsent_notification_developer_alert_enabled` boolean, nullable: Set to false to exclude this customer from the unsent-notification-emails watchdog alert
  - `grade_alert_threshold` string, nullable: Which grade levels trigger alerts: b_and_below, c_and_below, f_only, none
  - `auto_billing_enabled` boolean, nullable: Set to true to enable automated daily billing (live runs without dry run)

  - `customer_id` string, uuid, required: The customer ID
  - `call_started_developer_alert_inbound_enabled` boolean, required: Whether SMS alerts are sent when new inbound calls start
  - `call_started_developer_alert_outbound_enabled` boolean, required: Whether SMS alerts are sent when new outbound calls start
  - `call_started_developer_alert_caller_numbers` string[]: E.164 caller numbers whose inbound calls always send the call-started alert, even with inbound alerts off
  - `outbound_developer_alert_enabled` boolean, required: Whether SMS alerts are sent for outbound lead activity
  - `unsent_notification_developer_alert_enabled` boolean, required: Whether this customer is included in the unsent-notification-emails watchdog alert
  - `grade_alert_threshold` string, required: Which grade levels trigger developer alerts (b_and_below, c_and_below, f_only, none)
  - `auto_billing_enabled` boolean, required: Whether automated daily billing (live, no dry run) is enabled
