# Create Customer

`POST /developer/customers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openintake.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Create a new customer with an admin user.

This endpoint is restricted to developer users only.
Creates a customer (law firm) and an admin user for that customer.

- **firm_name**: The name of the law firm/organization
- **admin_first_name**: Admin user's first name
- **admin_last_name**: Admin user's last name
- **admin_email**: Admin user's email address
- **admin_password**: Admin user's initial password
- **default_timezone**: Default timezone for the customer

Returns:
- Customer and admin user details

- CreateCustomerRequest: Request to create a new customer with an admin user
  - `firm_name` string, required: The name of the law firm/organization
  - `admin_first_name` string, required: Admin user's first name
  - `admin_last_name` string, required: Admin user's last name
  - `admin_email` string, required: Admin user's email address
  - `admin_password` string, required: Admin user's initial password
  - `default_timezone` string, required: Default timezone for the customer
  - `set_first_payment_today` boolean: Override the first billing date to today if enabled

  - `customer_id` string, uuid, required: The created customer ID
  - `customer_name` string, required: The customer name
  - `admin_user_id` string, uuid, required: The created admin user ID
  - `admin_email` string, required: The admin user email
