# Update Active Call Check

`PATCH /developer/active-call-check`

## Request

Update the active call check setting for the current customer.

This endpoint is restricted to developer users only.
Toggles whether active call checking is disabled for call screening.

- **disable_active_call_check**: Set to true to disable active call checking

When disabled, the system will not check if the screener is already on an active call
before initiating a new screening call. This is a workaround for cases where calls
are incorrectly showing as still in progress.

## Request body

- UpdateActiveCallCheckRequest: Request to update customer's active call check setting
  - `disable_active_call_check` boolean, required: Set to true to disable active call checking (workaround for calls incorrectly showing as in progress)

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ActiveCallCheckResponse: Response with customer's active call check setting
  - `customer_id` string, uuid, required: The customer ID
  - `disable_active_call_check` boolean, required: Whether active call checking is disabled for screening
