# Update Customer Auto Billing

`PUT /billing/developer/auto-billing/{customer_id}`

Enable or disable automated daily billing for a customer (developer only).

Disabling holds back that customer's unbilled periods; they stay collectable later.

  - `auto_billing_enabled` boolean, required: Whether automated daily billing is enabled for this customer
