# Forgot Password

`POST /auth/forgot-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.openintake.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Request a password reset link.

Always returns a generic success message regardless of whether the email
matches an eligible account, to prevent email enumeration. A reset email is
only sent for active password-login users with a set password.

- ForgotPasswordRequest: Request to send a password reset link
  - `email` string, email, required: Email address

## Response `200`
