# Create Role

`POST /admin/roles`

## Request

Create a custom role holding exactly the permissions checked on it.

Nobody can create a role that holds more than they do.

## Request body

- CreateRoleRequest: A custom role: the permissions checked on it
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `permissions` Permission[]

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- RoleInfo: A built-in or custom role
  - `id` string, required: 'admin' or 'staff' for a built-in role, otherwise the custom role's id
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `built_in` boolean, required
  - `permissions` Permission[], required: Everything the role holds
  - `user_count` integer, required
