# Fire the job's real run right now (async)

`POST /jobs/{id}/run-now`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://worker.openhelm.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://worker.openhelm.ai/v1/jobs/{id}/run-now`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Unlike POST /jobs/{id}/runs, this does not clone the job into a new billable API run — it starts the same run the job's own schedule or the app's "Run now" button would start, respecting `execution_preference`/`pinned_executor_id`. Returns 202 immediately with the run's id and status.

  - `fire_at` string, date-time: Defer the run to this time instead of firing immediately.
