# Update an inbox

`PATCH /inboxes/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://worker.openhelm.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://worker.openhelm.ai/v1/inboxes/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

`autonomy` governs OUTBOUND: auto sends, notify sends and files a notice, approve_first holds for a human. `inbound_jobs_on` governs INBOUND and is the one people trip over: it defaults to `fresh` (uncorrelated mail only), so REPLIES to mail you sent do not wake a job. Any support or reply-driven workflow wants `all`.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required
